A company which specializes in building, creating and developing mobile sites and applications is one of the customers of Bluecorp. This company operates in Europe and has offices in several countries in Europe. They provide applications for various mobile platforms including the iPhone/iPad mobile platform.

The customer provides the requirements and the designs of the applications to our iPhone developers who develops the applications using the latest iPhone SDK features. Professional usage of the iPhone SDK and good understanding of the challenges involved in iPhone development enable our developers to develop high quality applications.

Emails and Online Chat are used for the communication between the customer and our developers. The customer maintains a SVN repository which is used by the developers to share code with the customer and also to maintain source code versions.

Development of an iPhone Application for a Belgian News Paper was one of the projects that was handled by our developers for this customer. Two of our developers worked on this project for two months. This application presented news articles in user friendly interfaces. It had features which enabled the end user to customize the visible news sections according to his/her preferences. The application had the capability to work in offline mode by displaying cached news articles.

It also had features such as sharing articles (using Facebook, Twitter and Email) , radio streaming, a video gallery, a photo gallery and live news updates. Technologies that were used in developing this application were iOS SDK, Objective C, XCode, XML parsing, Twitter API, Facebook API, Google Ads for iOS, Google Analytics and HTML. Though this was a challenging project the developers managed to successfully meet the project deadlines.
